During Heritage Day, we invite the community to help us honor Saucon Valley’s Revolutionary‑era spirit of service by donating unexpired, non‑perishable food dry, jarred or canned goods.
A collection wagon will be placed at the Heller Homestead, symbolizing the provisions our early farmers — led by the Michael Heller family — once supplied to support Washington’s troops during the harsh winter at Valley Forge. All donations will benefit local families in need.

service honoring our Saucon Valley Revolutionary Patriots
11:30 am Jake Laubach will talk about the Laubach family and the Revolutionary War
Telling the stories of our Revolutionary War patriots from the Saucon Valley area by Jake and by local students
1:30 pm Retired Colonel John Dwyer will talk about The Continental Army and the Militia in the Revolutionary War
All Day Nelson Chegezy will talk about the 18th Century Revolutionary War Era
153rd PA Volunteer Infantry Union soldiers will be encamped on site at Heller Homestead along with living historian, Linda Minarik portraying Mary Todd Lincoln.
